Boarding and grooming

Brazos Animal Hospital offers a clean, spacious kennel for your pet's boarding needs. Dogs and cats are required to have up-to-date vaccines and proof of vaccination is required. We recommend all dogs and cats be on heartworm preventative and flea-control year-round. Pets with fleas and/or ticks are treated for external parasites at the owner's expense. Dogs and cats are fed Science Diet Sensitive Stomach; however, if a pet owner requests a special diet, the food must be supplied by the owner at check-in time. Before boarding your pet, we usually recommend you make reservations. If you are planning to board your pet during a holiday, reservations are required well in advance.

Boarding rates: For our standard run (2.5 X 5 ft.), one dog is $18/night, with an additional $12/night for each additional dog. For our XL (3 X 8 ft.) and Privacy Suites (3 X 6 ft.), one dog is $24/night, with an additional $12/night for each additional dog. For cats, one cat is $18/night, with an additional $12 for each additional cat. Your pet is also welcome to stay with us during the day for $9 per animal for the day.

Boarding drop-off and pick-up hours are: Monday—Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to noon. If you need to pick up or drop off your dog outside these hours, an additional fee of either $89 (for hours between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.) or $99 (for hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.) will be charged.

Grooming

The grooming staff at Brazos Animal Hospital leaves your pet looking and feeling his or her best! Our professional groomer is available to our clients and is ready to perform all types of cuts, from AKC-standard to your personal wishes. Please call the hospital for prices.

Our grooming hours are: Monday—Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the 3rd Saturday of each month: 8:00 a.m. to noon.
